About our Machine
Our laser is a Prima Platino 1530, 4000 Watt convergent laser. It is rated to cut up to 1” thick mild steel and ½” thick stainless steel and aluminum. There are 2 each 60” wide by 120” long tables (pallets) so one sheet can be cut while the next is loaded. Set up time is extremely quick and we can change from one material to the next in a matter of minutes. The laser unit, cutting head, and optics are all mounted to a synthetic granite base to assure optimum quality and repeatability regardless of temperature or surrounding conditions. The machine uses flying optics and has fully retractable guard doors which allow for easy access and the ability to run over-sized parts with ease. All this means cost savings to the customer.
